Paradise Passion
Naomi Campbell launches Paradise Passion fragrance
Cosmopolitan Cosmetics has collaborated with Naomi Campbell for a sixth time since their fragrance partnership began in 1999. The result is Paradise Passion, a floriental, fruity, musky scent, which will be rolled-out to Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Japan and South America in March.
"We are aiming it at the 18-to-35-year old woman who wants to break out of grey everyday life and who wants to transform herself," says Cosmopolitan Cosmetics spokesperson Xavier Dujoncquoy.
The jus was created by perfumer Francoise Caron and contains top notes of perroquet flower, mango and tangerine. The base notes are soft musk and sandalwood, while the heart of the scent is commanded by the tropical papaya flower, which is indigenous to the Pacific islands. The bottle fuses ruby and turquoise shades and has a metal clip with two satin-finished petals, again mirroring the leaves of the papaya flower. The red also symbolises Campbell's self-professed passionate and fiery personality.
In a truly global collaboration, the glass bottle was produced by Sydney based Iconomy, while the box--which is tall and slim like its supermodel creator--was manufactured by Hamburg's Lutz Hermann Design agency.
Paradise Passion eau de toilette is available in three sizes, with 30ml retailing at 24.50 [euro]. Eau de parfum will be priced at (27.50 [euro] for 50ml. A shower gel, body cream, deodorant natural spray and deodorant aerosol complete the range.
